Hi all. I was wondering if someone could help, I have a flow 2a which has a flashing red and green light on the arm but no fault codes or bleeping when a call is placed. The lift will also not run off of the remote controls. If I connect my programming lead into the main board it will run with no problems? Any suggestions would be great as I’m due to go back there in the next couple of days.

If it’s the old type controls non hard wired? Start by changing the battery’s in the user interface, red and green lights are usually a coms error/ loss of signal
hard wired user interface, check the plugs at either end, check the loom for continuity, had a couple of the looms fail on the earlier conversions and the factory built jobs -
before you start messing with the remotes, drop the programming card in iirc? It’s late and it’s long day! mode 8 and check what the remotes setting are? I always check them and write them down inside the drives cover, it makes it easier if you ever have to replace a remote 😉

Fredt… do you know if the controls on the user interface fail, does this then also cause the remote controls to do the same?

User interface is the primary unit, without its enable signal the lift won’t run
There is a third micro switch in the user interface that the joy stick operates when pushed in, check the joystick if pushed home home fully and making the switch
if the user interface has failed you can reprogram a wall control to do the same job and mount it in the arm, but it won’t have the isolation function like a original user interface.If you are interested here are the fault codes for the Flow 2A

Slow down a bit.
Pull the joystick and then refit on a 2A it will most likely be the service interval timer.
2A have a wired armrest so not batteries, and even if it were an older version then the joystick still needs pulling after new c size batteries are fitted. -
If u know how to read the error codes the information is there…… depending on the software. But with a 2a should have a higher version so will be readable….

Hi all, thanks for you help. The strange thing was although I had the flashing green and red light on the arm I had no fault codes coming up on the display which is what was confusing me a bit. In the end I cleared all rail data and re programmed the entire lift. At last 1 happy customer.
