Relating to my other post, I have been quoted silly prices for a 15 tooth pinion that is used for the powered footplate on a Handicare 950.
I’ve been quoted anywhere between £22 – £25 PLUS £8 – £9 for delivery!
My question is this:- WIll ANY 15 tooth pinion with D hole do the same job, because you can obtain these for under £10 on Ebay.
The only thing I am not sure about is the pitch, I think it is 32?
Would appreciate ANY advice.
once you have a metal cog it will last a lot longer, well longer than part it meshes into on the footrest! which is cheaper than the cog!
yeah there’s no real cheap option to get one, unless your a handicare trade customer
if you still have the old cog? see if you can find someone with a 3D printer who could run you off a couple, I know these guys are always looking at ways to fund their hobby, so if they can make a few and sell them on their happy
