Acorn 130 Chair travels in wrong direction

I have modified a right hand seat to a left hand, all OK Except the chair arm buttons are operating incorrectly. I.E press either arm button it to go down and the chair goes up.
I welcome your advice please.

The seats cannot be re-handed as the swivel point is offset.
The job should be done correctly or not at all, get a new seat.
Carriages can be converted safely-
Thank you Kevin..I have correctly sorted out the swivel point..it is the electrics I need to address.

Can you explain how you have reversed the seat safely please?
In my experience it is not possible and the footrest and seat will not align correctly or swivel safely and there is no way I would help until I am sure what you have done is safe.
