Thanks Clive, I need to find a charger first I think. any idea where I can get one the same as this? nothing identical on ebay and not sure if similar ones would work?

Google acorn/ brooks dealers/distributors. Other power units may work but can’t commit to any one make. Batteries are not cheap. If u see them cheap then stay well clear. Bit out of touch on batteries for acorn 120. But they are dear …. hope this helps and I’m sure others on here will have answers or suggestions

I believe Acorn have now discontinued spares for the earlier 80’s although places like stairlift spares still offer them, cost will be at least £150+ for a pair.

Thanks for the advice and info. if anyone else has any ideas please let me know as I’m desperate to get this sorted ASAP.
