Hi I have a Brooks 180 curved stairlift, unfortunately the carriage is not attached to a transfer rail, so I can then place onto the curved rail. I have a small straight section I’d like to place onto the carriage and then attach to the curved rail, how easy is this? I’ve attempted it a couple of times, by using the handwider to move the straight section through, without much success because it’s biting down from a small bronze circular wheel that grips the side of the rail with the grub screws. Is there a certain technique that can allow me to get the carriage onto the rail?
Thanks in advance
