Brooks 180 display query

Replaced batteries on Brooks 180 now the display shows steady ‘dot’ with two horizontal lines (top and bottom of 8 digit). Chair will beep when signal sent from remote but no movement at all. Do I need to reprogram? If so how? Advice much appreciated.

You need to re-program Drop the front panel, flick switch on the board to program. You will then be able to drive the lift (stop the lift when both copper charge plungers are central on the charge point) to the top charge point, this will reset the datum
Drive the lift off the charge point, flick the program switch off and now the lift will remember its old program
This will get the lift running but I recommend you get an engineer in to check final limits etc are programmed

I too have had flat batteries that are replaced with new ones and they are fine. Have top and bottom horizontal lines which change to a centre horizontal line when up or down is selected
Have tried switching to program to run to top point and off again but it does not respond when the prog switch is turned to off.

So if I’m reading this correctly you have driven the lift in program mode to the top charge point and then off again. When you switch out of program mode after that sequence what does the display indicate?
