Handicare slide track

Hello,
I will be installing the Handicare 950 with slide track next week. I’m wondering how I need to position the rail when I’m loading the power pack? Should I drive the power pack down the rail with the dip-switch disabling the slide track and switch it back on once I arrived at the bottom? Can I disable the alarm when the lift is moving?

Not being rude but if u need to ask that question, then ask yourself should I be installing this stairlift…….. is it used or new ?

agree with the answer Clive gave and for the last part No it cant be disabled warning alarm that the rail and lift are moving
