Handicare xclusive U flat code

Hi. I have a handicare xclusive stair lift and have just got a U fault code.
[U] No Float Indication V1.19 Software & Later Only Faulty Power Supply Check Power Supply Is this a failed power supply or something else? The charging points are showing 33v. Is it the charger that switches to float or is it the PCB that regulates it? If I have 33v and it says its charging but no float, is that a new PCB? Thanks for you time and all help gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Unfortunately looks that way, I have had faulty PSU’s that have caused the U code also.
Without having parts to swap it’s difficult, might make sense to get a handicare dealer in to save expensive mistakes.

Thank you. I have a spare power pack so will give that a try. Where at the moment is the best place to get a new pcb if i need one?

Hi bikewo, what did finally solve the problem? I have the same… The board was changed 2 times already but the problem occurs again (only in the upper position…). Did the new power supply solve the problem?
