Stannah 410/420 Seat Re-handing

Has anyone here successfully re-handed the seat of a Stannah 410/420 lift? I have the unit successfully installed and operating normally, however I need to re-hand the seat so that it swivels to the right, instead of the left.

Swivel boss is handed. You would need to replace the swivel boss for the had you want.
Your best bet would be to look for a second hand lift and is the correct hand.

Unfortunately we are located in the USA and anything Stannah is hard to come by.
Is it impossible to re-hand with the current boss, or just very involved and difficult? Do you know if there are there any hand specific components to the boss that are forged/machined specific to the handing?

The swivel boss can be separated (take photos first and during) the plates flipped and then rebuilt to rehand.
Do not forget to use screw lock and torque to the correct values for the fixing bolts and ensure all the pin rollers, swivel lock and washers are in good order whilst apart.

I was able to successfully re-hand the swivel on this Stannah 410! It only involved removal of the seat, and disassembly of the swivel (three bolts), and reversal of the positional catch plate so that it allowed for the opposite hand operation.
