Hi, thanks for getting back to me. We live in Lincoln, and our council are notoriously bad when it comes to anything disabled. But, I will ask. I understand the safety conscious bit, but it is not born out by their actions. Without going into huge detail, they have left us without any safe hot water due to the temperature being set at 42 deg c instead of 60, we now have possibly legionaires to consider. Going back to the stairlift, the sideways movement that wasn’t there before they took it away to repair is frightening. I can move it 5 inches in most directions at the top, something that we didn’t experience before. But as I said, I will certainly ask. With having prostate problems, it is agony to use.
