If stairlift companies would be fair and honest and not overcharge people who need help the most you wouldn’t have people like me who are forced to find ways to make them work or their loved ones might fall or not be able to climb the stairs. My mom suffers from a crippling disease and she is weak and can barely climb the stairs. She might fall and die. That would be the fault of the “stairlift engineer” swindlers and the stairlift manufacturer out there who are “bodging” innocent peoples lives. I had to figure out how it operated and I know that there are others out there that can’t afford to be swindled out of their money and they need to help their loved one as well.
However, ianb, because you sent me the service manual to begin with and because I can tell that you are genuinely concerned about it, I decided to remove the part about overriding the OSG from the link above. Oh, and Northern Mobility, if what I said is all wrong, why is my stairlift working perfectly now?
