Hello okmobility,
many thanks for responding.
MIL had it beeping all night and called out engineer, they basically confirmed it had to be on top position to reset the programmes.

suspect in-laws confused but shame there
had been little/no documented handover or FAQ leaflet advising where and how it should be parked.
