Seat to footrest adjustment is made by lifting the seat higher
check the distance from the nosing to the under side of the rail and adjust the brackets till this measurementvis consistent along the rail length, I think the distance is in the install manual?

once that is set screw down the rail and check for lean, then adjust as required, you just need enough lean back to move the bubble off center in the level, nothing excessive! Make sure the rail looks good when you look down it from the landing, no twists or kinks!
Once it’s screwed down for a couple of weeks check it over again and adjust as necessary, the carpet will compress under load so the screws will need a tweaking
this is normally done on the (fluff and buff) first service, used to be after three months
