once you have a metal cog it will last a lot longer, well longer than part it meshes into on the footrest! which is cheaper than the cog!
yeah there’s no real cheap option to get one, unless your a handicare trade customer
if you still have the old cog? see if you can find someone with a 3D printer who could run you off a couple, I know these guys are always looking at ways to fund their hobby, so if they can make a few and sell them on their happy
