[h=3]Im guessing this was a Sarum seat as the newer seat motors sound less strained. That being the case the manual swivel is very different to the powered option. The maiual swivel is basically two steel plates with a set if needle bearings in between. Hence very sturdy. The powered option has a longer stem to accomerdate the motor rack and pinion and has needle bearings at the top and bottom of the shaft i think. As for flexing under load im 18stone so they all tend to move with me on them.[/h]
