Hi Christian,

Have you loosened the bolts holding the section bushes which sit inside the rail sections ?

The rail sections should then slide off the bushes.

I’m not a professional but this seems to be how the rail is held together. ( look at the installation manual – available online if you Google it).

Also, if you’re looking to dispose of the whole stairlift, some firms who buy used lifts will want to dismantle it themselves, so you may not need to do it!!
