The lift should not have left the track. in this instance, looks like several failsafes -; 1. upper terminal limit 2. Final/ultimate limit 3. physical rail end stop have all been removed or bypassed. Sorry I dont understand why this fault or possibly a reverse of the motor would happen whilst changing batteries. A lift can not leave a rail when correctly commisioned.
Sorry slt1208 – if the lift has left the rail, it needs to be checked for other potential damage to limits, rollers, osg, wiring as a bare minimum before being recommisioned.
