We have an opportunity for an Administrator to support our distribution department at our Stephenson Close site on a 12month fixed term contract. The role takes responsibility for the shipment of Stairlifts as well as supporting the busy order support team. Supporting managers, you will assist in the delivery of all aspects of cost, quality, delivery and process. Ideal candidates will have previous shipping or distribution experience and be able to work independently. Candidate will be comfortable with reporting and interpreting data, having the ability to plan, prioritise and organise their own workloads. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures. Liaise with Freight Forwarders to arrange transportation of goods, through efficient booking of transport. Prepare shipping documents ready for dispatch for both export and UK. Preparation of delivery notes, invoices and all relevant customs forms (EUR, ATR and certificates of origin etc) Obtain quotes for one off shipments from multiple freight forwarders. Prepare and check freight invoices, ensuring compliance to required customer standard at all times. Organise express couriers for urgent contracts at customer and business request Input orders into the system & support the orders team with all aspects of order processing. Deal with general daily requests, queries, amendments and answering telephone queries.
