Field Service Engineer

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department covering the PE (Peterborough Postcode Area ) and surrounding Areas.

Type of contract: Full Time, Permanent

• Salary: £10.10 Per hour
• Overtime available: Paid at Time/Half after 40hrs (all extra weekends paid at Time/Half)
• Working days: Monday to Friday + 1 – in – 3 Wknds (Saturdays and Sundays) (Paid at T/H) (Contractual)
• Holiday entitlement: 32 days per year (including bank holidays) Raises with Length of service.

The role consists of:

• Working from home you will travel on a daily basis to our customer homes to service and repair their Acorn Stairlifts, Straight and Curved Models.

The successful candidate will have:

• Stairlift Experience is Desirable but not essential
• NVQ 2 In Stairlift Maintenance Desirable
• Mechanical/electrical background
• A clean driving licence (Must have held a license for minimum 2 years)
• A Criminal Records Bureau check will be carried out on the successful candidate
• Must be honest, reliable, and have the ability to communicate on different levels
• Must be able to display the Acorn Values
