Website Designer

Full-Time Web Developer/Designer – Orlando, FL

The Web Designer will be involved in all aspects of the website development lifecycle. We are looking for a true developer with an eye for superior website design. This role will require an ability to translate business needs into actionable creative solutions that make use of web design best practices. Exceptional web design skills, communication and interpersonal skills required

Essential Functions:

· Build client facing websites

· Provide technical and creative planning for front and back-end web services

· Create wireframes & mock-ups

· Front-end web designing *

· Document technical specifications

· Websites will be built from scratch – no WordPress, no Frameworks

· Work closely with the team to develop and shape the digital strategy for projects

Qualifications & Skills:

· Strong portfolio with examples of previous work/projects (please send portfolio other than GitHub examples)

· 2+ years of Experience with responsive development for tablet and mobile devices

· Object oriented programming and design patterns

· Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, & JavaScript libraries

· Understanding of programming with SEO in mind

· Experience with MacOS, Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe XD

· Experience with GitHub, Bootstrap, Visual Studio Code is a plus
