Compact AC question

I went to put a Bison Compact AC back into service yesterday, it was working before being un-used for a year or two.
After powering on, the display went to S for a few seconds then changed to P. The resistor near the top of the board was getting very hot discolouring the board.
I checked all the usual places for worn wires/shorts and everything seemed in order, all looks in good nick.
The hinge works fine and if you put a call in before powering on, the chair runs up and down normally – until you stop when the P appears.
Any ideas?
I don’t have a spare board and cannot find one – even on e-bay. I can get this one repaired but don’t want to go to the trouble and expense to find it wasn’t the board.

Yes power frame fault, either continue putting the call in before turning on or try and locate a replacement pcb.

The PCB can be repaired, cant remember for sure but seem to remember this being a MOSFET fault.
