Hi – just changed the battery for my father; battery is fully charged and has replaced one that has been dead for a few months!
According to the service manual the chair has lost its datum and needs re-programming
However, when I’m trying to move it I’m getting the feed fault- no power to main control circuit error when pressing the rocker switches or calling the chair
When you replaced the batteries did you unhook the positive for both batteries before unhooking the negatives? And then when you installed the new batteries did you plug in the negatives first followed by the positive terminals? I did not follow this procedure correctly and destroyed the circuit board. What are the actual error codes you are getting? You may have to move the unit up to the top charging point manually. I have had to do that several times. I’m not impressed with the reliability of these units!
Cannot view your photo. Requires a download, weird. Have replaced many battery packs on 180s. Very likely there is a board now cracked by pulling on the connections, thereby flexing the board, when removing … its hard to remove. The crack could be intermittent. I use a low voltage DC non-contact tester. A milliamp clamp ohmmeter will also work .. those are affordable now, but almost all Amazon electronics and batteries have fake specs in my experience.
