The display flashes 8. Anybody know what’s wrong?

Looks like the up side foot rest safety switch is activated , jammed or faulty. The attached website has a list of fault code which you may find useful. https://www.modernmobility.ie/brooks-acorn-stairlifts-fault-codes/
