Error Code H4
Hello to all..
My layman question is about the following and I would request any assistance anyone can give.
BTW it is about 12 ++ month I asked on this supportive forum and got a lot of help on fitting a stairlift for my lovely youngish (80++yrs) lady.
I have now fitted 5 stairlifts on to 3x split staircases and almost all all good.
I have bought secondhand mainly Acorn/Brooks type staircase units, with the ?? hope that if one or more breakdown I can do some swapping from other units.
With your help; even me as a layman on these matters has learnt a lot BUT needing to learn much more.
I attach a drawing which I hope can be clearly seen and that it will appear clearly in this forum post.
The drawing tries to show and asks:…
Acorn/Brooks straight stair rail showing top & bottom power points and power supply
Connected to 13A Socket
Connector/adapter:
Lemac Mod AC Uk 1500A/A
INPUT 230V 50HZ
OUTPUT DC 15V-1500mA 22.5V
Notes:
1. motor to split staircase 2nd floor attic worked for 6 months (ish) on weekly testing procedure
2. a recent weekly testing the carriage traveled 1/2 way down and stopped
3.error code message fault showed H2 (20 seconds-ish) then H3 (20 secs-ish) then H4 & remained
4. I hand drove it to top of rail..Error codes remain the power to the unit has been repeatedly switched on/off
5. All wiring has been checked there is no wire or contact faults, there is no wire touching the rail metal body
ONLINE ERROR CODES INFORM’ TELLS ME…..H2-Safety grounded to earth…H3-Auto hinge communication fault….H4-Secondary processor U2 not responding
IS THERE A WAY TO CHECK AND CORRECT THE FAULT/S (btw..i do not understand the H2.3.4 error wording)
