ParticipantHi
I have a Stannah 260 that I need to rehand Can someone give me some info on how to do this?
I believe its a matter of changing some jumpers and changing the seat to the other side of the powerpack
The seat is no problem I just need to know about the jumpers?
Also the unit has come off of a powered hinge track how do I reconfigure it to go onto a non hinge track?
ThanksNigel

ParticipantYou’ll also need to reconfigure the top trunion pivot and Swivel boss.
There are a pair of links on the pcb and usually a pair in the armrest button pcb.
The reciever pcb will also need reprogramming to clear the hinge enable signal.
All the correct torque setings and related info are in the manual. -

MemberIt’s not that simple. And best avoided to be honest. The bottom cluster contains the safety gear which is handed, along with a read switch and thrust rollers all of which are handed. By just altering jumpers and remanding seat all you’ll end up with is a chair that will not maintain it’s levelling along rail. As for the chair coming off a hinge rail, you will need to change the radio board mounted on back of chair to a chair board as the one it will have will be marked chinge(chair/hinge). Hope this helps.

ParticipantJust for info the 260 carriage is not rehandable. They are manufactured left or right. Any attempt to rehand will put the user at risk !!
