got to look and see what that is in the base plate looks hexagonal don’t see a screw head like that fix 13 shows For whatever reason . . .the foot rest hit a step about 5 feet from the bottom of the rail when coming up. Did not hit anything while coming down. Is there an adjustment of the footrest to raise it or lower it a bit. This footrest is barely clearing the steps near the bottom of the rail . . . .better clearance at the middle and top sections ??
