Many thanks guys – recently fitted 2 new 12v 7amp batteries to it – it came to me with the busbar coiled up. Took a while to figure out that it will only charge when one of the microswitches is depressed – in other words, top or bottom of stairs. Got it working now. I really appreciated the help.
Dont know if you ever come across automatic doors in your line of work. If you do, and you need any advice, let me know. I will monitor this forum thread for a while 🙂
