Batteries are best tested under load to ensure they can deliver current. Switches may sound ok but contacts may have resistance or be physically sticking internally. All switches on the safety line are normally closed and wired in series so that the volatge can be interrupted at any point prior to their voltage being fed back to signal the lift as circuit made. this can be checked with both resistance and voltage measurments respective to the circuit under test and also ground, being mindful of a back voltage which may cause further damage to the main lift controller.
