Dolphin Lifts Midlands Ltd. has a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, independent family run business. Due to the expansion of our business to a second site, we require an experienced Stair Lift Engineer.

Working as part of a small team, Engineers work closely with our Helpdesk and Parts Administrators to install, service and maintain a variety of mobility aids under both private and council contracts.

The role will include the use of a modern work tablet and mobile phone, provided by the company. General Duties

This position requires working on stair lifts, through the floor lifts and ceiling/ mobile/ bath hoists, profiling beds and step lifts of varying manufacturers. You will be required to install, maintain, and repair installs as and where required

You may be required to train customers on how to use the products

Perform sling inspections

Be competent with stock keeping

Leasing with service co-ordinators

Be part of a 365 days 24/7 call out emergency team of engineers

Out of Hours Work and overtime is available

Provide a first class service and outstanding customer care

Essential Requirements

Previous Experience and training on various products within the lift industry

Mechanical/ electrical skills

Fault finding skills

A Clean full UK driving license is essential

Enhanced DBS

Navigation skills

A high standard of English to facilitate the communication and paperwork needs of the role

Customer liaison skills in sensitive scenarios.

Flexible approach to working hours.

Good team working skills

Ability to work to deadlines

Heavy lifting is a requirement of the role
