Hi I have moved a Handicare 950+ slide track for a customer to a new staircase but now the slide track doesn’t move and chair moves at half speed.. Any thoughts? Manual doesn’t include the circuit board in the middle of the track. A schematic of the track would help. Many thanks
Just looked thru my manuals. There isn’t a wiring diagram on any of them !!! Suggest check u not damaged the carbon brushes that connect chassis to rail conductor strips
Thank you Clive for your reply. I have tried that… So the ‘push’ copper strip doesn’t seem to supply enough current. It’s at about 30v unloaded but dips straightaway if the slide motor is manually engaged. I presume current should slow from the main batteries down the copper strip to it?
Check the bottom copper strip. Assuming you have removed the chair and refitted to the track I would guess you have blown the 5amp fuse that feeds the comms. You should have 11volts when still and it should ramp up to 24volts+ when in motion.
