A few weeks ago, I acquired a 2018 Stannah 600 for the purposes of an elderly relative moving in with us. (Used). It was configured for left hand raiI. I custom cut the rail to the new length, moved the jumper connection for right hand, mounted the rails and chair, and everything worked great. But the seat rotation was still configured for left hand. After a little studying, I reversed the components in the seat like a mirror image, right to left, and left to right, and was able to achieve the correct rotation for the seat. Now, however, I have a problem. While the chair runs fine up and down the rails with the remote, whenever I sit in it to travel down the stairs, I get an error code 9, fault group 2, fault 2. which is “Stop switch activated before slowing switch”. I didn’t change the positioning of any of the limit switches on the rail. But it will not let me move the chair, even after I clear the code. Any ideas on what I may be missing here? Thank you.
