Hello all. There are at least two T565 battery chemistries that work depending on the motherboard: unchipped nicad and chipped lithium of several shapes/battery chargers — contrary to Acorn. In my experience, several error codes are encountered during supposedly “straight-forward” 180 and Acorn 120/130 battery replacement contracts. One client paid me for a battery replacement that (to complete) required fixing (without pay) a micro switch damaged by curry sauce — their stairlift was a dumbwaiter for a takeout food operation, lol.<div>

For pre- T565 motherboards, I restored some packs to a usable voltage without blowing up lithium packs, as shown on several vlogs. Dont play with unprotected lithium cells and dumb chargers unless you are experienced with small mushroom clouds already. One house in my city recently burned down.
